Baccarat
Baccarat has very few rules, and you pick a side before the cards are turned. Here is a full round from start to finish.

Baccarat asks you to pick a side before the cards are turned. There are only a handful of rules, which is why most newcomers follow it within a few hands.
Only the last digit of a total counts. Number cards are worth their face value, tens and court cards are worth nothing, and an ace is worth one.
| Card | Value |
|---|---|
| Ace | 1 |
| 2 to 9 | Face value |
| 10, J, Q, K | 0 |
So an eight and a seven make fifteen, which counts as five.
Drawing a third card is not your decision — it is a fixed rule the dealer follows every time. If either side holds eight or nine from its first two cards, the round ends there.
The short version: your only job is choosing a side and a stake. The rest of the round runs itself.
